High Vibration Or Low Vibration – Which Are You?

Here are 63 signs your energy is mostly either a high vibration or a low vibration. Which are you?

We all feel energy to some degree, on both an intuitive level and on a primal level. On these levels we also feel both high vibration and low vibration energy. Sometimes we get stuck in feeling the low energy – negative energy – and we can’t seem to break free.

Why does this happen? Can we change our experience of any negative energy into a more pleasant feeling positive experience?

Do we need to know exactly which energy we are feeling to be able to change it?

How do we know which energy we have more of?


We have the ability to “tune in to” the different energies in our life. The nature of energy is that it varies in both quantity and quality. These changing frequencies can drastically affect our everyday lives.  

(We StarSeeds tend to be very sensitive to energies.  Some of us are
empaths. Some of us can focus that energy to heal others.  Some of us are just trying to get a grip on how to handle our gift!)

When we are in a busy and bustling location, surrounded by lots of different people who have their own different emotions, we may feel a “heaviness” about us. Sometimes we may feel those energies as being of a “low” vibration or slow frequency.

Similarly, we may sometimes feel, or “tune into”, energies which are of a higher vibration, or frequency. Sometimes the sense of joy we may feel at a certain holiday, or during a celebration in which we are surrounded by loved ones, brings us that “higher” vibration or frequency we are searching for.


All vibrations, all frequencies, are generated from our emotions. And our emotions create the vibrations (frequencies) because of our thoughts.

So the first step in changing our vibration is to choose thoughts that will foster different emotions.

We can choose to think thoughts filled with appreciation, care, compassion, and gratitude. We may not actually FEEL the emotions of those things yet. But if we choose the thought which will foster those feelings, they will eventually be created.

Higher vibrations, higher energy, allows us to get and be in touch with the divine. With our true inner, higher self. Lower vibrations put us out of sync with everything in our life, causing conflict, ill health, and a chasm within our connection to the divine.

How do we know if we are experiencing and perpetuating a lower vibration, or a higher vibration?

And, once we know what vibration we are at, how can we change our vibration to a higher frequency if we choose to?


Check these two lists below for signs that you are engaged in either a high or a low vibration. But before you do, consider these two important points about classifying or labeling something or someone as having either high or low vibration:

ONE – It is rare that anyone is ever fully either all positive, or 100% negative. Most people are a percentage of one and a percentage of the other. And even within that, the percentages vary and fluctuate, at least slightly. Use these lists to discover about yourself your own status, so you can make choices about what you want to change to raise your vibration.

TWO – These lists are great when you are referencing and examining yourself. Be mindful of not applying the label of “low vibration” or “low energy” to other people. Others are on their own path, all of which eventually leads back to the light … although some admittedly faster than others. Labeling and defining people creates division by emphasizing the polarity. While we need to be aware of the energetic vibrations we expose ourselves to, the mindset of focusing on judging it can be negative.

So with this in mind, read the vibration lists below, and think about if, or how, each item plays a part in your personal life.

1)You feel “stuck” or stranded in life, not knowing what to do next.
2)You struggle with apathy, or an uncaring attitude towards yourself and others.
3)You are emotionally distant.
4)You are emotionally reactive.
5)You struggle with constant fatigue and lethargy.

7)You often struggle with despair and desperation.
8)You find it almost impossible to get “unstuck” from old habits.

17)You struggle with mental health issues such as anxiety, OCD or depression.
18)You find it hard to see the beauty in life.
19)You feel unfulfilled.
20)Your connections with others constantly bring you pain.
21)You are overly cynical and skeptical.
22)You are argumentative.
23)You complain a lot.
24)You have substance abuse issues.
25)You self-sabotage.
26)You focus primarily on the negative in life.
27)You struggle to feel gratitude.
28)You eat a lot of fatty or processed foods (e.g. meat, fast food, lollies).
29)You are needy or demanding of others.
30)You watch a lot of violent multimedia and/or listen to intense music with violent lyrics (e.g. heavy metal, screamo, rap).
31)You find it hard to make any real progress in life.


1)You are self-aware (i.e. you are conscious of what you are saying, doing, thinking and feeling, as well as the effect this has on others).
2)You are empathetic towards others needs and you make a habit of seeing through the eyes of other people.
3)You are highly creative and are often bursting with ideas and inspiration.
4)You are emotionally balanced.
5)You feel connected to that which is “beyond” you (e.g. life, divinity, love).
6)You have a great sense of humor towards life.
7)You don’t take yourself too seriously.
8)You regularly feel gratitude for what you have in life.
9)Smiling and laughing comes easily to you.
10)You don’t experience much disappointment because you don’t cling to passing things (e.g. material comforts, friendships, indulgences).
11)You are self-disciplined.
12)You can delay pleasure if it does not serve you.
13)You do not “need” anything to feel happy.
14)You are in-tune with your body and its needs.
15)You nurture yourself often.
16)You nurture others often.
17)You often experience synchronicity.
18)You live in the present more than the past or future.
19)Your body feels strong and healthy.
20)You eat raw, unprocessed food.
21)You try to keep your life clutter-free.

30)You are highly intuitive.
31)Other people easily open up to you.
32)You often find yourself in the role of the counselor, peacemaker or teacher in friendships and relationships.


We all are on a journey, and on that journey we are all following our own path. On our journey we all encounter “choice points” which allow us to reconfirm our soul’s polarity, or to change it. These choice points make us aware of where we are meeting our own expectations for our own life, or they make us aware of when we are coming up short of who we want to be.


Notice how you are feeling, physically, at any given time. How you physically feel is the first and most prominent indication of your vibration …your physical vibration (health) can be a barometer for you to examine other areas in your life which can have an impact on your vibration.

Two of the major areas in life which can strongly influence our vibration is our ability to forgive (either or both ourselves and others), and our ability to love ourselves.

Other areas in our life can also play a major role in our vibration, and we may notice when we read these lists our vibration is lower than we would like it to be.

If we want to change and raise our vibration, a good place to start is to examine not only our ability to love ourselves, but also our ability to forgive (both ourselves and others). Often, working on love and forgiveness will improve not only our vibration but our health as well.
